NEW YORK (CBS) Reba McEntire didn’t choose from the country catalogue for her performance at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night.
Instead, she borrowed a song from Beyonce, singing the R&B diva’s ballad “If I Were a Boy” at the annual awards show.

McEntire was one of many performances during Wednesday night’s show. Some of the others included Miranda Lambert (who celebrated her birthday by winning three awards), Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who joined Vince Gill to perform the song “Country Strong” from an upcoming movie.

To celebrate the upcoming release of her concert DVD 'I Am... World Tour,' Beyonce unveiled a teaser clip that premiered on The BoomBox earlier today. Featuring an international montage of Beyonce on her 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' tour, the video shows her leaning on her fans to learn how to say "What's your name?" in various languages.
