How Much Actual Michael Jackson Is in New Song?
Several members of Michael Jackson's family are sick to their stomachs over 'Breaking News,' a just-released track featuring highly produced vocals that the late icon's nephews are calling "fake," "shady" and "not him." "I will not support 'Breaking News' and a few others [off the album] because it simply is not him," Taryll Jackson, son of the singer's brother Tito, wrote on Twitter.
Much of the song features multiple vocal tracks, making it hard to pinpoint where Jackson is, but the opening line has a single, arguably weak and shaky, voice. Listen to It Here
Without saying which parts of the song he thinks were altered, Taryll reveals he isn't alone in believing something's amiss.
"I KNOW my Uncle's voice and something's seriously wrong when you have immediate FAMILY saying it's not him," he writes, later adding, "Sounding like Michael Jackson and BEING Michael Jackson are two different things."
TJ Jackson, another son of Tito's, calls the track a sham and criticizes Sony for pushing the single, which he claims was not a priority of Michael's.
"There's many MJ vocal impersonators. Some better than others. But there is only ONE Michael Jackson. Deceptively merging shady vocals with MJ samples (from prior MJ records) will never fool me. Why they would ignore the obvious, look the other way and rush a suspicious track that was NEVER on my Uncle's radar is beyond me. I'm disgusted, disappointed and saddened."
Even Jackson's sister, LaToya, has weighed in, telling TMZ, "That doesn't sound like him."
Responding to the controversy, Sony said in its statement that it had "complete confidence in the results of our extensive research, as well as the accounts of those who were in the studio with Michael, that the vocals on the new album are his own."

Michael Jackson’s children recall pop star father
CHICAGO (AP) — Michael Jackson’s two oldest children say they’re adjusting well to private school, while their younger brother is still home-schooled.
Prince, Paris and Blanket have been living with grandparents Joe and Katherine Jackson since their pop singer father’s fatal anesthetic overdose in June 2009.
They appeared on Monday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and talked about their famous father.
In the pre-taped interview, 13-year-old Prince says he and his father often walked the beach early in the morning with Coca Cola and candy. Twelve-year-old Paris says her father took her to the art museum and was “the best cook ever.”
Prince says he wants to produce and direct movies someday. Paris says she wants to be an actress.

'Emotional Reunion' for Lindsay Lohan and Father Michael
Linday Lohan reunited with her estranged father Michael at the Betty Ford rehabilitation center in California yesterday, RadarOnline.com reports. It was the pair's first meeting in seven months.
"It was an emotional reunion," a source tells Radar. "There were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other. They spent hours together; it was not a fleeting encounter, this appeared well-planned in advance."
The reunion was a shocker, considering LiLo's recent comments to Vanity Fair -- "I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life," she said over the summer.
The reunion took place around 1PM Sunday at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, Radar writes. The site's source says Michael's visit came at Lindsay's invitation.
"Michael turned up at Betty Ford with some gifts and items for Lindsay," one insider says.
Asked for comment, Michael Lohan told Radar: "I have pledged not to comment about anything relating to my daughter. However, what I will say is that I am an incredibly proud father tonight. My daughter is progressing extraordinarily well."
The elder Lohan recently sent out what he dubbed his "final statement" to the media.
In April, Lindsay called her father a "pathological liar" on Twitter, writing, "When will it ever end ... it's been going on my whole life with him -- hasn't he caused enough pain?"
Visiting 'The Today Show' on Monday, Dina Lohan told Matt Lauer that Lindsay could "absolutely" benefit from a healthier relationship with Michael.
