David Charvet, husband of model and 'Dancing with the Stars' host Brooke Burke, is fed up with being accused of buying stolen kitchen appliances, an allegation that dates back to 2007. He recently vented his frustration to RadarOnline.com, arguing that if you can afford sport cars, you don't need to buy a hot freezer. "We didn't steal any appliances. Go take a look at our kitchen, it's all ours and paid for," Charvet said. "We have Bentleys in the garage. Why would you need to steal a stove and refrigerator? That's such bull***t."
Burke and Charvet are facing a civil lawsuit from kitchen appliance store EuroConcepts, which alleges more than $70,000 worth of products were ripped off. The lawsuit contends that Burke and Charvet paid Zalfa Halaby, a showroom employee at EuroConcepts, in cash and checks for high-end home appliances. Halaby allegedly kept the money for selling the store's merchandise. The items in question include a stainless steel barbecue grill, a refrigerator and a freezer.
